Meghan Markle reportedly wants to move on from her royal past but she is ‘clinging on’ to the title of Duchess.
A royal insider claims that Meghan Markle, wife of Prince Harry wants to move on from being a Duchess while keeping her title in her name only.

MEGHAN MARKLE WANTS TO REBRAND HERSELF AWAY FROM ROYAL PAST
A royal insider claims that Megha Markle is seeking to “launch her own global brand” while her husband Prince Harry wants a quieter life at home with their children, according to Woman Magazine in the UK. Prince Harry and Meghan have two children together – Archie (4) and Lilibet (2).
“Many people I have spoken to said they were leading separate lives, as Meghan preferred to ‘look forward’ in building a new lifestyle brand while Harry was more ‘focused on the past’,” a source said to Woman Magazine in the United Kingdom.
“Meghan now wants to move on from being a Duchess (although she’s clinging on to that title like a limpet!) and launch her own global brand. arry, though, doesn’t necessarily court the public’s attention,” the source continued, as reported by Sky News.
“In my experience, he’s never really enjoyed it – and would be much happier at home with the children, doing charity work. But that’s definitely not what Meghan wants from life right now,” the source added.
Prince Harry and Meghan quit their roles as senior working members of the royal family in 2020.

A PHOTO SNUB ‘LED TO’ HARRY AND MEGHAN LEAVING ROYALS
This comes after the author of unauthorised biography Meghan: A Hollywood Princess, Andrew Morton claimed that a photo of the late Queen Elizabeth II and her heirs was the last straw for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Morton claims that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decided to quit their duties as senior working members of the royal family after seeing the photo of Queen Elizabeth II with the now King Charles, Prince William and Prince George.
The photo was released in 2020 and taken in the Throne Room at Buckingham Palace.

“The royal couple suspected that the entire institution was conspiring against them. As they saw it, the evidence was all around them. The unspoken code was straightforward: the future of the monarchy was assured, with or without Meghan and Harry,” wrote Morton in the book.
