MATTHEW PERRY’S STEPFATHER SPEAKS OUT
Keith, who is a well-known correspondent for American TV show Dateline took to Twitter for the first time since Matthew Perry’s death last month.
“This is not the sort of thing I commonly do, this pitch. But this year is different”, be shared on Monday, 27 November.
The actor’s stepfather continued: “Do what you can; he would have been grateful”. The famed correspondent also included a link to the website for the Matthew Perry Foundation.

The Matthew Perry Foundation is a charity for those “struggling with the disease of addiction”.
“It will honour his legacy and be guided by his own words and experiences and driven by his passion for making a difference in as many lives as possible”, the foundation’s site reads.

RESTING IN PEACE
The renowned who was best known for his role as ‘Chandler’ on hit TV series Friends, died at his home in Los Angeles, California on Saturday, 28 October.
Perry was found unresponsive by his assistant and appeared to have drowned in his jacuzzi. It was reported that Matthew arrived home Saturday morning after a two-hour round of pickleball. Shortly after arriving home, the actor sent his assistant out on an errand. Approximately two hours later, when Perry’s assistant returned to his house, he discovered that the actor was unresponsive and immediately dialled 911.
Matthew was laid to rest in an intimate private ceremony and his funeral took place at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles California and was attended by the actor’s close friends and family.
A few weeks ago, police officer’s confirmed that investigators ran a less-in-depth test on the Friends actor which revealed that he did not have fentanyl or meth in his system.
Matthew had a longstanding history of suffering from addiction.
