Matthew Perry: Meth and Fentanyl ruled out as cause of death
New tests determine that former ‘Friends’ actor Matthew Perry did not die from a meth or fentanyl overdose.
According to TMZ, Matthew Perry’s death was not caused by a meth or fentanyl overdose.

TESTED NEGATIVE FOR METH AND FENTANYL
Law enforcement sources have informed TMZ that investigators have ran a less-in-depth test on the Friends actor which revealed that he did not have fentanyl or meth in his system.
Despite this, more in-depth tests are still being conducted as part of the toxicology analysis. These additional tests will determine whether or not there are any illegal substances are present in his blood. These tests will also determine the levels any prescription medications that were at harmful doses.
The additional tests will take approximately four to six months to conclude and once all that data is collected the Los Angeles coroner will be able to determine the actors cause of death.

RIP MATTHEW PERRY
The 54-year-old actor who was well known for his role as Chandler on hit TV show, Friends drowned at his home in Los Angeles, California.
Matthew was found unresponsive by his assistant in his hot tub Saturday after playing pickleball for a few hours before arriving home.
Since the news of his death many of his friends, family and industry colleagues have shared their tributes to the actor.
Perry’s ex-fiancé, Molly Hurwitz penned a sweet tribute reminiscing about their relationship.
Molly noted: “No one in my adult life has had a more profound impact on me than Matthew Langford Perry. I have tremendous gratitude for that, for everything I learned from our relationship. Matty, I feel relief that you are at peace”.
His former Friends co-stars also shared a joint statement honouring the actor’s life.
“We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family,” they shared in their statement. There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss. In time we will say more, as and when we are able, [but] for now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world”, the shared.
