MaMkhize ordered to pay R37 million tax bill
Durban businesswoman Shauwn ‘MaMkhize’ Mkhize is in a spot of trouble. The high court has ordered a R37 million tax bill payment.
This is stressful news if MaMkhize is one of your beloved role models of luxury and affluence. The 47-year-old has been slapped with a R37 million tax bill.

SARS DEMAND R37 MILLION FROM MAMKHIZE
According to the report, MaMkhize has accumulated a massive amount of unpaid taxes.

Appearing before the stand on 16 October, MaMkhize was found guilty and ordered by the High Court of South Africa to pay R37, 915, 549.77.
“The Execution Creditor / Plaintiff [SARS] obtained judgment on 16 October 2023 against the Execution / Defendant [Royal AM] for:
“1. The payment of the sum of R37, 915, 549.77 [Thirty-seven million nine hundred and fifteen thousand five hundred and forty-nine rand and seventy-seven cents].
“2. Interest on the sum claimed in paragraph 1 at the applicable rate per annum from 1 November 2023 to date of payment, the said rate[s] of interest and date from which such interest is payable having been determined by the Execution Creditor / Plaintiff [SARS],” the report concludes, as shared by FARPost.

FIFA TRANSFER BAN
Additionally, MaMkhize’s club, Royal AM, are also facing an outstanding R12 million payment to their former player Samir Nurkuvic.
The club was found guilty by FIFA for failing to pay Nurkovic over a 24-month period when he was injured. The punishment also included a transfer ban of two seasons wherein the club won’t be allowed to sign any players.
