KATE MIDDLETON OPENS UP ABOUT CANCER DIAGNOSIS

The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton revealed that she has cancer in an emotional and heartbreaking video on Friday 22 March. Kate is wearing a blue and white striped jumper and blue jeans sitting on a garden bench as she opened up about the cancer diagnosis.

The Princess of Wales did not disclose what type of cancer she had. She began the video by expressing gratitude to everyone who sent messages of support.

“I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you, personally, for all the wonderful messages of support and for your understanding whilst I have been recovering from surgery,” she said.

She went on to say that it has been a tough couple of months for her family. Kate has three children – Prince George (10), Princess Charlotte (8), and Prince Louis (5) with her husband, Prince William. She explained that when she underwent major abdominal surgery in January, she did not know that her condition was cancerous.

“It has been an incredibly tough couple of months for our entire family, but I’ve had a fantastic medical team who have taken great care of me, for which I am so grateful. In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous. The surgery was successful,” she continued.

Kate then revealed that her medical team has advised she undergo preventative chemotherapy and she is in the early stages of treatment. This comes after her father-in-law, King Charles revealed his cancer diagnosis in February.

“However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment,” she added.

order to start my treatment,” she went on to say.
