Jennifer Hudson and Common spark romance rumours

Musician Jennifer Hudson and rapper Common have once again sparked dating rumours. This time around the two have been spotted holding hands on Saturday as they attended a performance honouring jazz singer Mikel Mwalimu-Banksat at Joe’s Pub theatre in New York City.

‘I AM VERY HAPPY’

According to People magazine, Jennifer and Common appeared to be cheery holding each other’s hands as they walked into the venue together.

Hudson wore a white jacket paired together with black pants and black-and-white heels. Common on the other hand wore a cream shirt, cargo pants and completed his look with white sneakers.

While neither of them have commented on the status of their relationship, Jennifer has teased that she happily dating someone.

On Monday, 6 November the singer appeared on CBS Mornings with Gayle King, where she eagerly teased her current relationship status. Gayle King asked; “Word on the street is that you’re very happy?”.

To which Jennifer replied: ‘I am very happy”, to which Gayle says, “very nice relationship”.

“Yes, ma’am,” the singer replied. King teased, “With someone who shall remain nameless”.

JENNIFER HUDSON AND COMMON SPARK DATING RUMOURS

In February of this year, Common and Hudson were spotted leaving popular restaurant Nobu together in Malibu, California.

Despite being spotted together on multiple occasion, datting rumours between the two first sparked in 2022 when they were spotted together in Philadelphia and Chicago.

This was after it was announced in May 2022, that the pair would be starring in the action-thriller Breathe together.

In September 2022, the songstress clarified the rumours.

She said: “People create their narratives of it and it’s like, OK, you know, how you feel, we shot a film together and he played my husband. We got to eat in between those moments”.
