In a new interview with Gayle King rapper Jay Z opens up about how his daughter Blue Ivy continues to face public opinion and scrutiny.
In a new interview with Gayle King, American rapper and philanthropist Shawn Carter popularly known as Jay Z candidly opened up about how his eldest daughter Blue Ivy Carter continues to face public scrutiny despite only being 12 years old.

THE PUBLIC VS BLUE IVY CARTER
In the interview Jay Z talks about his accomplishments, his musical journey, about his wife Beyoncé and children. The Reasonable Doubt rapper particularly opens up about how his daughter Blue Ivy is under constant public scrutiny. The iconic rapper further shares how Blue Ivy was born into a life she didn’t ask for.
The artist then goes on to share how ever since her birth in 2012 the public has always had an opinion about his daughter.
“Since her birth in 2012, my little girl has been under scrutiny and public eye with everyone having an opinion about her”.
If you all remember correctly Blue Ivy was literally on a few weeks old when she was bullied by grown adults who felt the need to not only make fun of her hair but to question her looks. Rapper 50 is among the many who are also guilty of this. The rapper made fun of a newborn baby’s looks, even going to the extent of calling her ugly.

JAY Z: ‘SHE CLAIMED HER POWER’
Despite the public scrutiny Jay Z shared how proud he is of his daughter, specifically mentioning how Blue was performing alongside her mother Beyoncé during her Rennaissance World Tour.
“Seeing her on stage makes me super pound as she claimed her power by performing My Power alongside her mother, Queen Bey, in front of a crowd of 80,000 people”, the Grammy winning artist shared.
Jay Z also revealed that although she didn’t look nervous or anxious, he knows how frightened Blue Ivy was when she first started performing with her mother.
“I know her. I know how nervous and frightened she was”, the rapper expressed.
