Gayton McKenzie trolled on X: ‘A stadium is too big’
Patriotic Alliance’s Gayton McKenzie has been called a copycat after announcing the party’s 10th birthday celebration at Orlando Stadium.
South African political party the Patriotic Alliance (PA) are celebrating their 10th birthday this year. Following in the footsteps of the Economic Freedom Fighters, the PA are planning a big birthday celebration. A poster sharing the celebration’s date and time was posted on X by party leader Gayton McKenzie. According to the poster, it will be taking place this November at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto.

In the comment section, many mocked the PA leader who they accused of trying to copy the EFF’s Julius Malema.

Earlier this year, Julius Malema impressed even his enemies after successfully hosting a 10 birthday bash for the EFF.
Photos and videos from the historic event flooded the internet as locals discussed how successful it had been.
Even political opponent Gayton McKenzie headed online to give Malema his flowers.

It would appear that McKenzie was so inspired by party’s success that he has decided to have a PA party.
Taking to X, the PA leader shared that the political party is turning 10 this year and will be celebrating with a big bash at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto.
It is set to take place on Friday 10 November this year.

GAYTON MCKENZIE GETS TROLLED
In the comment section, X users had no for McKenzie as they predicted an empty stadium.
“After your recent comments, it’s amazing you chose a stadium this close to black people. I would have thought you might take it to to the Western Cape,” one person said after McKenzie remarked that the ANC has neglected coloured communities while focusing on the upliftment of black communities.
Another added:
“The stadium is too big,go to the mall or community hall or something…even the Dome will be too big”
