MORE ABOUT THE POP STAR IN VEGAS
Bruno Mars is seemingly finding himself in a lot of trouble in Las Vegas. He was arrested in September 2010 after a performance at the nightclub Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, CNN reported.
Billboard reported that the pop sensation acknowledged having 2.6 grams of cocaine with him when he was arrested in the nightclub’s bathroom. He was reportedly fined $2,000 (an estimated R38 000) and ordered to perform 200 hours of community service. The judge on his case is also said to have ordered him to do eight hours of drug counselling upon his release.
Mars’ mug shot was leaked on social media and caused quite a stir among netizens. This is because, instead of looking stressed or serious as someone who just got in trouble with the law, Mars smiled like he had just won his latest award.
