Parts of Cape Town will be without water for at least nine hours on Thursday, 25 January due to planned maintenance.
WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION IN CAPE TOWN
The City of Cape Town said maintenance work and planning for the replacement of defective isolation valves will result in water supply disruption to these areas:
Claremont – Between Stan Hope Street and Protea Street, Main Road, Cavendish Road, Station Road as well as surrounds.
The municipality said the main water supply to this area will be shut off temporarily between 09:00 and 18:00 on Thursday, 25 January 2024.
“This will enable the maintenance team to do the replacement of defective isolation valves. It will result in the disruption of the water supply for the duration of the work. Some areas will experience low water pressure and others no water,” the metro said.
