SASSA SRD STATUS CHECK FEBRUARY 2024

Don’t forget that you must do a SASSA SRD Status Check February 2024 to know if you are in line to receive the government disbursement:

• Beneficiaries can check their SASSA SRD Status HERE.
• Enter your ID and cellphone number.
• Or WhatsApp 082 046 8553.
• Alternatively, call 0800 60 10 11 toll-free and follow the prompts.
• To clear any issues around fraudulent activity, email: referred@sassa.gov.za.

The dates for February 2024 SASSA SRD payments start this Friday 23 February and run to Thursday 29 February.

For the next two months, they run like so:

• March 2024: From Monday 25 March to Friday 29 March (Good Friday).
• April 2024: From Saturday 20 April to Wednesday 24 April.

*SASSA reminds beneficiaries that payouts may take between 2-3 working days to reflect in your bank account.

COMMON SASSA SRD TERMS

• COMPLETE – Your application is received but has not approved your application yet, however there is nothing more you need to do.
• PENDING – SASSA is in the process of verifying your application for that particular month. No further action you need to take.
• APPROVED – Congrats, this means SASSA has accepted and approved your grant application for the month. You will see when your next payment is due.
• BANK DETAILS PENDING – If SASSA does not have your banking details or a chosen payment method, you need to update this. Rectify through SASSA SRD Status HERE.
• REAPPLICATION PENDING – This means you need to submit a application for the SRD grant.
• DECLINED – SASSA has declined your application because you did not meet all the criteria. The reason why will be listed for you.
• CANCELLED – This is if you have a job and no longer meet the requirements, or you’re receiving another income.
