A regional grant office is the nearest location to your registered address. Regional offices deal with paperwork, but also social grant applications and complaint resolution.

Contact details for regional offices have been updated on the main website. Some contact details spreading on social media aren’t accurate – and you might not reach the right office.

The South African Social Security Agency have updated the details for their social grant offices, according to their website.
SASSA regional offices are spread throughout South Africa. A regional office might deal with complaints and grant applications, though also deals with collections and paperwork.

SOCIAL GRANT UPDATES FOR 2024
The social grant agency have issued important updates for 2024.
Gold cards won’t expire for the foreseeable future. If you have a social grant card, it will remain valid well into the year – and so far, for next year.
Later in 2024, the grant agency phases out Postbank cash payments in an attempt to make grants safer for everyone.
