South African Airways (SAA) has opened an attractive new airport lounge in Johannesburg. Take a look at the facility here.
The country’s national airline, South African Airways (SAA) has just opened a premium lounge at O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg.
Partnering with Discovery and Investec, the national carrier now offers a delightful space where passengers can relax or work before flights.
SAA is certainly making it very enticing for passengers to take its flights, with the launch of this new lounge facility.

SAA PREMIUM LOUNGE
On Monday 13 November, SAA opened its new International Premium Lounge at Johannesburg’s primary airport, O.R. Tambo International.
The Lounge is an inviting space for passengers to relax or work before their flights.
It aims to enhance the flying experience for SAA’s passengers. The facility’s contemporary design is complemented by a tasteful collection of local artwork.
Buffet-style dining is offered, with a tasty selection of local and international dishes. Guests can enjoy hot and cold drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from the bar.

WORK OR RELAX
The tranquil facility comes complete with scenic views of the airport, private suites and quiet zones for visitors who wish to work or to relax.
There are also meeting suites for guests who need to hold meetings.
SAA PREMIUM LOUNGE’S OPERATING HOURS
The new facility is open from 06:00 to 00:00 daily.
However, operating hours may change, according to SAA’s flight schedule.

PREMIUM LOUNGE ENTRY
The Lounge is available to SAA’s Business, Voyager Gold, Platinum, Platinum Elect, and Lifetime Platinum passengers.
SAA’s enhanced lounge experience is set to redefine the airline as well as offer its passengers a premium service.

RENOVATION PLANS
The airline says it will be renovating all of its airport lounges in the months ahead.
It will start refurbishing its First-Class Premium Lounge at O.R. Tambo Airport early next year, according to Simple Flying.
SAA also plans to make enhancements to its domestic lounges in Qheberha (Port Elizabeth), Cape Town, Durban, and Johannesburg in the coming months.
