James Freemantle

James Freemantle is a fanatical football supporter fascinated by facts & figures that make the beautiful game such a joy to watch. He's a long-suffering Arsenal and Ajax Cape Town fan. He has worked in a digital marketing environment in the past but slowly gravitated towards football writing in the last five years where he has experience in social & editorial content strategy. One of the first highlights of his writing career was co-authoring Suzelle DIY's book. In his spare time, James plays tennis (badly) and is an avid trail runner, hiker and beach-goer. He also believes that ice-cream is a food group.
