Turkish Airlines revamps its amenity kit concept

Turkish Airlines has introduced its Business Class passengers to a new amenity kit collection designed in collaboration with French fashion brand, Lanvin.

The new five-piece collection, which consists of a reusable bag, inspired by Lanvin’s iconic styles, is crafted for versatility beyond the journey.

Inside each amenity kit, passengers will find limited-edition Lanvin cosmetic products, including Hand & Body Lotion and Lip Balm enriched with nourishing ingredients like Cocoa Seed Oil, Shea Oil, Olive Shell Oil, and Coconut Oil – perfect for keeping skin hydrated at 30 000 feet.

The collection offers a variety of options: chic brown, black, tan, and cream bags, as well as a wallet-style bag available on shorter international flights lasting five to eight hours.

Sustainably sourced

Sustainability is also at the heart of this collection. The eye mask as well as the socks are made from recycled materials, the toothbrush is crafted from bamboo, and earplugs are thoughtfully packaged in paper – minimizing single-use plastics and promoting Turkish Airlines’ commitment to a zero-waste future.

Turkish delight from Turkish Airlines

Travellers to and from Turkiye can also look forward to even more luxury from Turkish Airlines, who recently unveiled its new state-of-the-art Crystal Business Class suite.

The new suite will be available on its transcontinental flights, including those between South Africa and Turkey.

The suite will be rolled out on the airline’s new Airbus A350s, as well as be retrofitted on Turkish Airlines’ Boeing 777s, which have an adjustable door for added privacy and 58cm of extra footwell space and direct aisle access for all guests.

Professor Ahmet Bolat, Turkish Airlines Chairman of the Board and Executive Committee said that it was a new level of comfort and privacy.

“Our new Crystal Business Class suite will add a new chapter for our long-haul luxury travel and will carry the airline into the future with a new level of comfort and privacy across our extensive global network,” Bolat said.
