Siya Kolisi brings kids to meet a firefighter

Springboks captain Siya Kolisi brought his two children to meet firefighter and international rugby player Jade Konkel at the station, as shown in an Instagram post on Thursday, 14 November.

Springboks captain Siya Kolisi took his kids to meet Jade Konkel, a firefighter and international rugby player, at the station. Siya has two kids – Nicholas (10) and Keziah (7) with Rachel Kolisi.

“Have an amazing day with these two today ❤️! Thank you so much @jadekonkel for allowing us to visit your station and giving us the experience. So much respect for what you do on and off the field 🙌🏾. Song choice by Nic 😂🔥,” he wrote.

Siya and Rachel announced their split in October via a joint statement. The pair were married for eight years and have two kids together. The pair are parents to – Nicholas (10) and Keziah (7). This comes after Rachel took the kids to Paris for closure.

“We wanted to share some important news with you. After much reflection and open conversations, we have mutually decided to end our marriage,” read the joint statement.

“This decision comes from a place of love, respect and understanding that this is the best path forward for both of us. While our relationship as a couple is changing, we remain great friends and committed partners in raising our children with the same love and care they’ve always known. We will also continued working together on the foundation that means so much to us ,” read the joint statement.
