It’s been a long winter for Kaizer Chiefs supporters. Amakhosi are yet to confirm the new coach for next season. Additonally, Pitso Mosimane, a dream for many, has removed himself from the race.

HOW MUCH KAIZER CHIEFS WOULD NEED TO PAY PITSO MOSIMANE

According to Times LIVE’s seasoned reporter Mahlatse Mphahlele, Kaizer Chiefs would need R2 million per month to bring Mosimane to Naturena.

“Kaizer Chiefs may have to be prepared to pay a monthly salary of about R2m to secure the services of in-demand coach Pitso Mosimane,” the report said.

“It is in the Gulf region where it is believed his valuation must have increased significantly, meaning Amakhosi would have to fork out in the region of R2m or more if they want to lure Mosimane to Naturena.

“That is unless the coach was willing to take a pay cut because he viewed working at Chiefs as an exciting project.

“The club has not made any official announcement on its plans for a new coach but has indicated it is in the search for one. Reports have speculated Chiefs might make an announcement in the next two weeks,” the reported added.

Meanwhile, Nasreddine Nabi is said to be announced as the next Kaizer Chiefs coach.

AMAKHOSI TO LOSE NJABULO NGCOBO?

It is the second week of June and Ngcobo’s deal is ending on the 30th. His agent, Sboniso Ngubane, has sent out a second warning to Kaizer Chiefs. Ngubane previously indicated that Amakhosi’s delay have forced him to talk to AmaZulu.

“Kaizer Chiefs is a professional club, they communicate about their intentions. Unfortunately, they have not said anything about Njabulo Ngcobo,” Ngubane previously told SABC Sport. “We are in talks with different clubs in the DStv Premiership, including AmaZulu FC,” he added.

Meanwhile, the agent has given a new update: Sekhukhune United are keen to sign Ngcobo after his deal with Kaizer Chiefs expires.

“When SABC Sport contacted his manager Sboniso Ngubane on Sunday, he did confirm talks with Sekhukhune United, but refused to give away much regarding the player’s next move,” the report said.

“”We are still negotiating with them,” Ngubane told the public broadcaster’s sports desk,” the report added. “The final decision is expected to be announced before the end of June, with Chiefs also set to make pronouncements regarding changes to their squad, including a new coach.”
