MARISE AND HANDRE POLLARD BOND WITH BABY HUNTER
In a heartwarming clip posted on her Instagram account, Handre Pollard’s wife, Marise shared a look at the birth of baby Hunter Andre.
In the video, Marise was seen prepping for her caesarian section, which took place in a UK hospital. Moments later, little Hunter was born, and his parents – who called him their “biggest blessing and greatest love” were clearly smitten.
“One week with our Hunter boy and man, oh man, we are so in love,” the brunette beauty captioned the post.
The couple – who left South Africa in 2022 – have chosen to settle down in the UK, where they call the town of Market Harborough their home away from home.
DADDY’S DOUBLE?
While baby Hunter has undoubtedly won the genetic lottery thanks to his good-looking parents, many fans believe he is already “Daddy’s double.”
Some even believe the little birthing scar on his face is similar to the one Handre Pollard got in the Rugby World Cup final match between the Springboks and the All Blacks.
Hunter Andre’s name is also similar to Handre, who was named after his father, Andre Pollard, who is the principal of a Curro school in Pretoria.
According to ESPN, Andre captained the Paarl Gimnasium rugby first team in 1978 and was hailed as “one of the reasons the state school became one of the top sporting establishments in South Africa.”
Will Hunter follow in daddy and grandpa’s footsteps?
FIRST TIME FATHERHOOD
