King Charles cancer diagnosis: Prince Harry to travel to UK

Prince Harry will reportedly be travelling to the UK after as his father, King Charles begins treatment following cancer diagnosis.

Prince Harry is reportedly heading to the UK as his father, King Charles is starting treatment following his cancer diagnosis.

PRINCE HARRY HEADED TO UK

The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry is heading to the UK as his father, King Charles begins treatment after his cancer diagnosis. According to People, Prince Harry will travel to London in the upcoming days to visit the monarch.

Prince Harry lives in Montecito, California with his wife, Meghan Markle and their two kids – Prince Archie (4) and Princess Lilibet (2). The couple relocated to the US after they stepped down from their duties as senior working members of the royal family in 2020.

The publication also reports that King Charles personally told his two sons – Prince Harry and his older brother Prince William, about his cancer diagnosis as well as his three siblings – Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward.

BUCKINGHAM PALACE ANNOUNCES KING CHARLES CANCER DIAGNOSIS

King Charles recently underwent a procedure for prostrate enlargement. However, the doctors also identified a form of cancer. Buckingham Palace released a statement announcing the cancer diagnosis. The type of cancer has not been revealed.

“During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted. Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer,” read the statement.

The palace revealed that King Charles will start treatment and has postponed public-facing duties. However, he will continued state business and official paperwork as usual.

“His Majesty has today commenced a schedule of regular treatments, during which time he has been advised by doctors to postpone public-facing duties. Throughout this period, His Majesty will continue to undertake State business and official paperwork as usual,” the statement continued.

“The King is grateful to his medical team for their swift intervention, which was made possible thanks to his recent hospital procedure. He remains wholly positive about his treatment and looks forward to returning to full public duty as soon as possible,” the statement added.
