Another learners life has been cut short due to an accident involving scholar transport this week. A 15-year-old learner from Addo in the Eastern Cape has succumbed to his injuries after the minibus taxi he was traveling in collided with a train on Thursday afternoon. While 20 other injured learners from Samnkelwe Senior Secondary School were taken to a local hospital. According the Graaff-Reinet Advertiser, the location of the incident, is a very busy yet dangerous crossing as it is also the only legal entry into Nomathamsanqa Informal Settlement.
