Prince Harry is set to receive a prestigious honour at the 21st Annual Living Legends of Aviation Awards in Beverly Hills on 19 January.

PRINCE HARRY AND AVIATION

Hosted by the iconic John Travolta, the event will recognize individuals who have made remarkable contributions to aviation and aerospace, placing Prince Harry among the distinguished inductees as reported by People.

Known for his service as a helicopter pilot in the British Army, The Duke underwent extensive training and operational service with the Apache Force, eventually becoming a fully operational Apache pilot in February 2012.

PRINCE HARRY ‘S FLYING WINGS

His dedication and achievements in the field earned him the well-deserved Flying Wings in 2010.

The Living Legends of Aviation also commended Prince Harry for his role as the founder of the Invictus Games, a Paralympics-style sporting competition for wounded service personnel and veterans.

THE PRINCE AND JOHN TRAVOLTA

Adding a touch of nostalgia to the occasion, John Travolta, the event’s host, shares a unique connection with the Prince through memories of dancing with Princess Diana at a White House state dinner in 1985.

Reflecting on the enchanting experience, Travolta described it as a “fairytale” moment stamped in his memory.
