In a significant stride towards addressing housing needs, Valhalla Park saw the delivery of over 200 new homes.

This was showcasing the City’s unwavering commitment to housing solutions.

WHO HANDED THE 244 NEW VALHALLA PARK HOMES TO BENEFICIARIES?

The momentous occasion unfolded as Councillor Carl Pophaim, the Mayoral Committee Member for Human Settlements, joined forces with officials from the City’s Human Settlements Directorate to hand over 244 homes to beneficiaries in Valhalla Park.

Expressing his elation, Councillor Pophaim emphasised the tangible impact of this housing initiative, labeling it as “delivery in action.” Undeterred by challenges, he underscored the City’s dedication to confronting obstacles and providing opportunities for beneficiaries across the metro.

WHAT DID THE COUNCILLOR SAY?

“I am overjoyed to have handed over more than 200 new homes to our Valhalla Park beneficiaries – this is delivery in action. We are not afraid to stand up to the challenge and deliver opportunities to our beneficiaries in all areas of the metro that we serve, and we will continue to move mountains to ensure that we meet our redress, empowerment, and service delivery agenda.
