‘I SEE LOVE WHEN I’M WITH HIM…’

Tallulah who is the youngest child of Bruce Willis and his ex-wife actress Demi Moore has opened up about her father’s diagnosis with frontotemporal dementia also known as FTD.

“He has a really aggressive cognitive disease, a form of dementia that’s very rare”, she said.

“He is the same, which I think in this regard I’ve learned is the best thing you can ask for”, Tallulah told Drew Barrymore.

She further told Drew that when she’s with her dad, she sees and feels his love, reiterating that she knows her dad loves her.

“I see love when I’m with him, and it’s my dad and he loves me, which is really special”, the 28-year-old shared.

BRUCE WILLIS DEMENTIA DIAGNOSIS

In February of this year Bruce Willis family announced that the actor has been diagnosed with a form of dementia called frontotemporal dementia, or FTD for short.

“Since we announced Bruce’s diagnosis of aphasia in spring 2022, Bruce’s condition has progressed, and we now have a more specific diagnosis: frontotemporal dementia (known as FTD). Unfortunately, challenges with communication are just one symptom of the disease Bruce faces. While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis”, they shared.

The continued: “Today there are no treatments for the disease, a reality that we hope can change in the years ahead. As Bruce’s condition advances, we hope that any media attention can be focused on shining a light on this disease that needs far more awareness and research”.
