Etzebeth celebrates World Cup, ‘baby reveal’ and birthday in 48 hours
Springbok lock Eben Etzebeth had the weekend of a lifetime as he celebrated a variety of special achievements.
On Saturday night, Etzebeth celebrated winning the World Cup once again with the Springboks, with the powerful lock having enjoyed an outstanding tournament.
After the Springboks’ nail-biting final victory over the All Blacks, Eben’s wife Anlia Etzebeth headed to her Instagram account with a celebratory picture with the Bok forward, while also acknowledging a visible baby bump.

The popular actress – who is best known for her role as Sasha Richter in the TV series Getroud met Rugby – captioned her Instagram post with a “baby bump” emoji and the following words: “Blessings upon blessings. Thank you Lord!”
On Sunday, the Springbok lock then celebrated his 32nd birthday, having undoubtedly partied into the early hours of the day as the South African team celebrations continued well after the final whistle.

MORE TO CELEBRATE FOR ETZEBETH
Just to further cap things off, on Sunday night Etzebeth was included in the World Rugby team of the year, although he quite comically sported a strange haircut that resembled the mohawk look of RG Snyman.
“About five weeks ago, me and RG Snyman spoke on the bus, and I said if we win the World Cup, I’d cut my hair like his,” Etzebeth told reporters.
“At about 4:30 after the final … and I was not drinking water … RG reminded me of it. I’m a man of my word.”

Ultimately, Etzebeth said a few touch ups from teammate Damian Willemse improved the overall look.
“Damian Willemse cut it. My wife likes it, so I’m happy,” he quipped.
Eben Etzebeth told RG Snyman five weeks ago that if the Springboks won the Rugby World Cup, he would cut his hair like him.
