LIFT DROPS SURPRISE ENTERTAINMENT ON PASSENGERS
Lucky passengers on board LIFT flights departing Cape Town and Johannesburg on Monday, 16 October were unknowingly in for a treat, when Freshlyground lead singer, Zolani Mahola stepped out to serenade them.
LIFT had organised a silent disco on board the two flights in an effort to support local South African talent, reports Cape Town Etc.

Passengers were seen having a blast as they were given headphones to listen as Mahola performed.

Mahola is also the voice behind LIFT’s national anthem – played at the end of every LIFT flight. The song was created and recorded by the Remember Who You Are songstress especially for the airline.

UPLIFTING SOUTH AFRICA
According to LIFT CEO, Jonathan Ayache, the airline is on a special mission to uplift South Africa.
“We’re on a mission to uplift South Africa, especially within the artistic community; the support of both local businesses and talent is important to us. By creating platforms for local talent to shine, we hope to bring a little upliftment to South Africans at the same time,” Ayache said as per Cape Town Etc.

“Our collaboration with Zolani Mahola for our anthem was just the start. We’re thrilled to have her back on board for a surprise performance. Our dream is to let LIFT become a springboard for musicians, artists and entertainers around the country. From here, the sky really is the limit.” Ayache added.
