Airline offers zero-fare flights to Vietnam
Asian low-cost carrier Vietjet is offering passengers zero-fare flights from a number of destinations in Australia.

Vietjet is offering zero-cost fares, on its flight tickets from five Australian cities to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.
For the next ten days, travelers from Australia will be able to take advantage of Vietjet’s AUD 0 (Australian dollars) ticket offer from five Australian cities to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.

ZERO-FARE FLIGHTS
This is not the first time an airline is offering free flight tickets.
Earlier this year, several Hong Kong-based airlines offered free tickets to a large number of travellers from various locations across the globe.
This was an attempt to entice travellers back to Hong Kong after the territory emerged from its strict Covid-19 containment measures.
VIETJET AIR
Vietjet is a low-cost Vietnamese carrier. It launched in December 2011 and offers both domestic and international flights.
The quirky budget airline serves 18 domestic and 26 international destinations. VietJet Air’s first flight was operated on 25 December 2011, flying from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi.
The carrier carried its 10 millionth passenger in December 2014, and its 25 millionth passenger in December 2015.
ZERO-FARE OFFER
From 2 to 10 October, tickets on all flights connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney and all Vietjet’s international routes can be booked for free – excluding taxes and fees.
The offer is valid for flights until 29 March 2024. Flights must be booked on the airline’s website or Vietjet’s mobile app.
AUSTRALIAN FLIGHT ROUTES
According to Simpleflying, Vietjet currently operates nonstop services from Ho Chi Minh City to Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.
Flights to Adelaide and Perth are due to start in November. Adelaide will be served as a tag-on flight from Perth.
Beyond Ho Chi Minh City, Vietjet has convenient connections to a number of destinations in Asia, including Hong Kong, Tokyo, Seoul, New Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Osaka, Busan, Taipei and Kaohsiung.
