Meghan Markle rakes in over 100k followers – without a single post

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex reportedly racked in almost 100k followers on Instagram despite not sharing a single post.

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle has garnered over 100 000 followers on her suspected Instagram account without sharing any posts.

OVER 100K FOLLOWERS, WITHOUT A SINGLE POST

Meghan Markle allegedly returned to social media under the handle @meghan according to a report by Page Six. The Duchess of Sussex has gained around 103 000 followers within the last few months despite not sharing a single post.

In August, the account, which has a flower as the profile picture, had 28 700 followers. Meghan reportedly got her Instagram account before she launched her podcast Archetypes in August 2022. However, she has since cut ties with Spotify.

However, other sources have told Page Six that the account is not in fact Meghan’s.

MEGHAN MARKLE TO MAKE R18.6 MILLION PER POST?

A financial expert told Daily Mail that the former Suits star she could be making $1 million (R18.6 million) per post.

“I would expect her to quickly become one of the most followed accounts on Instagram,” said dviser Eric Schiffer told the Daily Mail.

“You have celebrities like the Kardashians who can command $1 million and up for a single post promoting a product. There is no reason Meghan couldn’t be earning those sorts of fees,” he continued.
