Golden Arrows have reportedly signed Nigerian goalkeeper Olufemi Kayode amid rumours that two more players have been removed from the Abafana Bes’Thende squad permanently.

After their accounts were boosted by a significant 10Bet sponsorship, Abafana Bes’Thende signed Kayode as their ninth player this window, joining the likes of Brandon Theron, Bradley Cross, Lungelo Nguse, Nhlanhla Zwane, Angelo Van Rooi, Olwethu Mncube, Tebogo Motloung, and Siyanda Mthanti who was promoted from the club’s own development system.

Kayode has faced South African opponents in the Champions League, being in goal when Sundowns lost to Lobi Stars in Nigeria in the 2018/19 season and also taking on Orlando Pirates in the Confed Cup group-stage in the 2020/21 season.
