Former Eskom CEO Andre de Ruyter has landed a new job at the private Ivy League research university Yale in New Haven, Connecticut, in the US.
WHERE IS ANDRE DE RUYTER NOW?
According to a report by Daily Investor, De Ruyter will be a senior guest lecturer, presenting a course on renewable energy and the green economy market.

Earlier this year, in February, he left Eskom with immediate effect following an explosive interview on ENCA where he accused the ANC of corruption and enrichment through Eskom.

IT HAS BEEN A BUSY YEAR FOR THE FORMER CEO OF ESKOM
In May, De Ruyter released a new book, Truth to Power: My Three Years Inside Eskom, in which he exposed further details about corruption and incompetence at the power utility.
We know that he left South Africa and has been living in a secret location for the past several months.

HE LEFT SA EARLIER THIS YEAR AFTER ATTEMPTS ON HIS LIFE
This comes after an alleged attempt on his life in December 2022.
According to a report by EE Business Intelligence De Ruyter confirmed the attempt on his life, which took place on Tuesday, 13 December 2022, a day after he submitted his resignation as CEO to the Eskom chairman, Mpho Makwana, but before this became publicly known on 14 December 2022.
De Ruyter became weak, dizzy, and confused, shaking uncontrollably and vomiting copiously after drinking a cup of coffee in his office at Eskom Megawatt Park in Sunninghill. He subsequently collapsed, unable to walk.
