Kaizer Chiefs winger is off to the coast to join Stellenbosch FC after just two seasons with the Soweto giants.

According to SABC Sport, Kgaogelo Sekgota has finalised his move to Stellies after putting pen to paper.

Sekgota had joined the team from Moroka Swallows alongside the like of Njabulo Ngcobo, George Matlou, S’fiso Hlanti and Kamohelo Mahlatsi.

And while he had a promising start to his career with AmaKhosi, he eventually Iost his place in the team due to a number of reasons.

Furthermore, the publication reports that Moroka Swallows attempted to re-sign Sekgota but it is Stellies who won the race.

KAIZER CHIEFS SELL SEKGOTA TO STELLENBOSCH FC

“Stellenbosch FC have finalised the signing of their prized possession yet, as much sought-after winger Kgaogelo Sekgota puts pen to paper, SABC Sport understands.

“SABC Sport has it on good authority Moroka Swallows also attempted to re-sign the player who was on their books for the 2020/21 season.”
