The Bloomberg Billionaires Index is a daily ranking of the world’s richest people.
South African-born Elon Musk is the new richest person in the world, having recently surpassed France’s Bernard Arnault.
They are followed by United States’ Jeff Bezos, who rounds out the Top 3.
The rest of the Top 10, in order, are: Bill Gates, Larry Ellison, Larry Page, Mark Zuckerberg, Warren Buffet, Steve Ballmer and Sergey Brin.
The figures are updated at the close of every trading day in New York.
