SIPHOSETHU TSHAPU REPLACED?
Zimoja reports that Nikiwe booted head writer, Siphosethu Tshapu and replaced her with writer Bongi Ndaba as the show isn’t doing well compared to Smoke and Mirrors, Scandal! and House of Zwide.
An actor who didn’t want to be named revealed to the publication that the show is not doing well at all, and this is in comparison to the other shows.
The actor added that the channel hoped Parental Advisory Productions to deliver and replaced The Black Door by Black Brain with Nikiwe hoping it would be amazing but the numbers aren’t looking great.
“Bongi is a seasoned scriptwriter, and she has done amazing work. They hope she will revive the show. But we also can’t blame Sethu for the show doing badly. You tell me, you will keep chopping and changing staff every time a show fails.”
