MUSICIAN REACTS TO ‘ISIBUKO’ ALBUM

The former Uzalo actor Jabulani Hadebe aka Sjava, who debuted on Mzansi Magic’s drama series Shaka Ilembe on Sunday, 23 July revealed to TshisaLIVE that his latest album Isibuko was inspired by a mirror he bought at a store which broke moments later.

“As a person you can get to a point of hating yourself. When you look at things like depression and mental health, it’s about you fighting what is happening in your head and the way you see things, but when someone looks at you, they can’t see it.”

Hadebe added that it can happen that when you look at yourself as a person and hate yourself, and there was a time where he felt like that, what he is doing is ruining himself, being famous and not having privacy.

“There was just so much to a point where I felt like if I did not do this thing I would have lived a better life.”
