Gqoboka thanked the Loftus die-hard for their loyal support over the years and said the Capital will always be a special place for him and his family.

“I moved here eight years ago, as a young family man and as a player with so much to learn as much as I had plenty to offer, and I now walk away reflecting on a time that has been nothing short of memorable.”
Gqoboka added: “I am grateful for the coaches I have worked with and all the hidden heroes who have worked tirelessly in the background to get me back up whenever I was injured or helped condition me to be at the best of my game at the beginning of each season. I also consider myself truly lucky to have worked alongside the talented players who have been my teammates over the years,”
“Loftus will always be a special place for my entire family and I look forward to visiting again in the near future. I wish everyone all of the very best for the future.”
