This is heartbreaking! The family of actor Bradley Olivier released a statement on Wednesday. He is known for his role as Danny Jantjies in the soapie Binnelanders.

THE STATEMENT RELEASED BY BRADLEY OLIVIER’S FAMILY IS HEARTBREAKING

Family spokesperson Solomon Cupido said in a statement that the 36-year-old Bradley Olivier had received the best possible medical care and attention from Life Flora Hospital over the past two days.

“Despite their tireless efforts, it has become evident that he has reached a point where recovery is no longer possible.”

‘HE HAS REACHED A POINT WHERE RECOVERY IS NO LONGER POSSIBLE’

The family furthermore asked “the media and the public to refrain from spreading speculation or engaging in sensationalism.”

This comes after reports of the actor’s death were reportedly confirmed by Human Stark, the producer of Binnelanders, to Kosmos 94.1 News.

It is believed that these reports came in shortly after the news that Bradley had reached a point where recovery was no longer possible.

“We understand the interest in Bradley Olivier’s condition, but it is crucial to prioritise compassion and respect for the family’s wishes.”

“Bradley Olivier’s legacy will live on through his body of work, which has touched countless lives and will continue to inspire future generations.

“We kindly request that you celebrate his life by remembering the joy and happiness he brought to the world.”

The family also thanked the medical professionals who cared for Bradley, “their dedication and expertise have been invaluable.”

Bradley is a South African actor best known for his starring role as Xavier in the Moja Love telenovela Hope, the first scripted drama to air on the channel.

He attended the Tshwane University of Technology from 2005-2007. He landed his first screen role in 2007 after winning a nationwide talent search to find new actors for the kykNET soapie Villa Rosa, as the character JJ.
