FIVE KAIZER CHIEFS STARS WHO COULD BE AXED BY NTSEKI
It’s no secret that Kaizer Chiefs are trying to offload Caleb Bimenyimana, but there might also be some surprise names on Ntseki’s hit-list. Although Bimenyimana’s Chiefs career started well, including a hat-trick against Stellies, his form fell off a cliff in 2023. He’s scored just once this calendar year and it was against Casric FC. With Ranga Chivaviro arriving, as well as Pule Mmodi, the big Burundian won’t be getting many minutes, barring a miracle turnaround.

DEFENDERS SURPLUS TO REQUIREMENTS
Austin Dube is another man strongly linked with an exit with Richards Bay reportedly making an offer. With Given Msimango and Thatayaone Ditlhokwe arriving, competition for places in the centre of defence is intense. For obvious reasons, Njabulo Ngcobo is also highly likely to leave. With club captain Itu Khune likely to stick around as Brandon Petersen’s number 2 between the sticks, Bruce Bvuma‘s days are numbered. In midfield, 33-year-old Cole Alexander won’t get many first team minutes as Yusuf Maart, Samkelo Zwane and new man Mduduzi Mdantsane all stand above him in the pecking order.
It’s going to be intriguing to see how the senior side shapes up under the new head coach.
