Mamelodi Sundowns have set their eyes on anotehr SuperSport United player.
The current DStv champions have apparently made attempt to sign United winger Thapelo Maseko.
The 20-year-old scored four goals and provided two assists in 25 games for SuperSport as his team finished third in the DStv Premiership and qualified for the CAF Confederation Cup. After the conlusion of the season, he was called up to the Bafana Bafana squad by Hugo Broos.
WILL MASEKO JOIN SUNDOWNS OR SEEK OVERSEAS MOVE?
The Bafana Bafana coach said that Maseko should seek a move overseas while he’s still young.
“It would be very good, should he make that move, you see what happened with Foster, he went to Belgium and one year later, he became a very good striker and another six months later he went to England,” Broos said.
