Out of the criticism put on Kaizer Chiefs, the club looks dedicated to starting the season on its highest note… writes Godfrey Sigwela.
The glamour boys’ staff at Naturena seem to be having sleepless nights fixing all the holes from their previous haunting PSL 23/24 season.
Having managed to bring back their longtime technical sponsorship in the form of Kappa, means they are digging deep in trying to please Amakhosi supporters.
Definitely, glamour boys’ fans will go back into their wardrobes and ransack the costumes looking for their old Kappa home-made regalia.
During the glory days those black and gold regalia were like a good omen for Kaizer Chiefs fans, as they donned everything bearing that Kappa trade mark.
It appears that Amakhosi has formulated a winning motivational strategy beyond the field of play. One may not be wrong to say the Naturenas are trying to unite the Chiefs of yesteryear with the glamour boys of today.
However, Amakhosi should not rest on their laurels. Other teams have also made drastic steps preparing for the 23/24 PSL season.
For instance clubs like Moroka Swallows and AmaZulu have indicated their intentions to compete for the top eight positions. Meaning that the competition will be tight in the PSL.
