San Antonio International Airport is in San Antonio, Texas and boasts three runways and covers over 2,305 acres.

Delta Air Lines, the airline involved in the accident, happens to be one of the biggest and major airlines in the US. Of interest is the fact that it is also one of the oldest airlines in operation.

In the wake of the incident, several investigations have been launched to connect the dots on what happened.

The worker’s employer, Unifi Aviation, has since weighed into the tragic accident. In a statement, Unifi Aviation said it was “deeply saddened” by the “tragic death.”

However, the company also revealed that the incident was unrelated to any company’s operational processes, safety procedures and policies.
