ACTRESS DRAGGED FOR SUPPORTING DRAG QUEENS AFTER LEGISLATION CHANGES
The actress is known for her sometimes controversial comments and has recently been dragged for openly supporting drag queens. This is after Tennessee became the first state in the US to pass legislation restricting drag shows.
According to News24, Charlize appeared in a Drag Isn’t Dangerous telethon, where she vowed to defend drag queens as they make people “happier.”
In a video shared on Twitter, she said: “We love you, queens. We’re in your corner, and we’ve got you.”
“I will f–k anybody up who is, like, trying to f–k with anything with” drag queens.”
But not everyone agrees with her. Megyn Kelly, who Charlize portrayed in the film “Bombshell,” challenged the actress to make good on her word and come at her.
