South Africa’s Ndlovu Youth Choir, who hail from Limpopo, are through to the semi-finals of America’s Got Talent, the worlds biggest show!
“We’re living the dream and loving every moment of it. Thank you to everyone who loves and supports us, we love you back! ??????? #agt” the elated choir wrote on social media on Wednesday night.
South African expats across the US made sure to vote and help secure the choir’s place in AGT.
SAPeople follower Belinda Peck voted and said afterwards: “YES they are through to the semi finals!! Whoohooo!! That was nail biting!! I am soo proud of them!! ??”
Judge Simon Cowell said: “I’m just going to go with my heart on this one… I’m going to go with the choir!”
AGT announced on social media: “The judges have spoken and @ChoirAfrica is moving on to the Semifinals! ? #AGTResults.”
South Africans back home were unable to vote but said things like: “We are so proud of you and although we are not able to vote, we are behind you all the way❤??❤??❤”
The choir’s journey continues… living their African dream, and uniting South Africans around the world in pride and joy!

Now that the choir is through to the semi-finals, they’ll perform again in early September, before (hopefully definitely!) reaching the finals on 17 September.
