KWA-ZULU-NATAL – The South African Police Services (SAPS) are appealing for help in finding a #Missing three-year-old girl.
In a statement issued Tuesday evening, SAPS said: “Three-year-old Sphesihle Zama Dlamini attended a church service at Amandawe on 31 December 2017.
“She was playing with other children, however, when her mother looked for her at about 09:00, the little girl was missing. An extensive search by police and community members proved fruitless.
“She was wearing a pink dress with white stripes and white pumps (shoes). She was allegedly last seen in the vicinity of a tavern in Slangeni Ward, Amandawe.”
Her father, Mxolisi Ngwane (seen above with his daughter), also posted an urgent message yesterday asking for help in finding her. It has been shared over 15,000 times… but today he wrote on Facebook: “She’s still not found, but I’m so grateful for the support and prayers from everyone. We have lot of hope that she will be found safe and sound.”
An urgent appeal is made for anyone who has seen the child since her disappearance or who may know of her present whereabouts, to contact the Umzinto Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit Detectives on 062 772 8943 / 084 955 5887, Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or their nearest police station.
