Rassie Erasmus has selected the four rookies in an exciting match-day 23 that will be captained by flanker Pieter-Steph du Toit in the Springboks’ Qatar Cup showdown against Wales at Twickenham in London on Saturday afternoon.
Lions teammates Van der Merwe (wing) and Hendrikse (flyhalf) are the two uncapped players named in run-on team – which features a good balance of youth and experience – while Stormers duo Dixon (lock) and Feinberg-Mngomezulu (utility back) will earn their first Test caps off bench.
